Steven Herron

Steven works within our Hudson Succeed Division as a Bid Writer, where he works collaboratively with our clients on their bid proposals to help them win more work.

He is involved in the bid writing process from start to finish, depending on what our clients need. His background in research writing across multiple industries is a huge asset when working with clients.

Steven graduated from the University of Sunderland with a BA in English and Psychology. He then went on to do a Master’s Degree in World Literature. This gave him great experience in research and report writing. His writing styles can easily adapt, depending on the topic and the client’s needs.

After university, Steven worked for 16 years as a Freelance Research Writer. This has allowed him to work with a range of clients during this time. It has also led him to be involved with different projects, spanning different industries.

This has included working with documentary makers and media companies for the BBC and Channel 4, providing background research. He has also worked with the NHS to develop evidence-based practices, service improvements, risk assessments and interdepartmental communication in line with new policies. Steven’s work has also heavily involved working with Psychologists and Social Scientists, aiding them with research and editing and publishing articles.

His writing styles and research experience work hand-in-hand when working on bid proposals with clients.
