Celebrating Moira Thompson – 6 Years at Hudson Outsourcing

This month, we are delighted to celebrate Moira Thompson, our Receptionist and Opportunity Tracker, as she enters her sixth year with Hudson Outsourcing — marking five solid years of unwavering dedication to our clients, our team, and our bidding operations.

Moira is often the first voice our clients hear when they contact Hudson, and for many, she is the calm, reassuring presence they need during what can be high-pressure and time-sensitive bidding deadlines. From sourcing and tracking opportunities, updating our bidding portals, and managing bid pipelines, to supporting clients across the UK and internationally, Moira plays a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly and our clients informed.

Her work behind the scenes — monitoring tenders, updating systems, and ensuring opportunities are accurately logged and communicated — is fundamental to the success of our bid teams and our clients’ outcomes. When clients call from around the world seeking guidance or reassurance, Moira is there with clarity, patience, and what many affectionately describe as a “Moira-style calm” — helping steady nerves and point people in the right direction when it matters most.

I started Hudson thinking there was nothing else I could learn but, was I wrong, and they do say you learn something every day, I have always kept a positive and calm attitude to my work and I do believe this has made me the person I am today, I  would just like to say thank you to Jill and John for this opportunity to work with each and every one at Hudson. what a high to finish on as I approach retirement.”
